How permanent LED lighting works

Govee Permanent Exterior Lights use RGBIC technology — each individual LED point along the strip is independently addressable, allowing multiple colors to display simultaneously across a single run. That enables flowing animations, alternating holiday patterns, and custom zones all at once.

The system is permanently mounted to your home's fascia and eaves and stays there year-round. You control the entire display from your phone — security white in summer, festive color in December, all with one tap. This is permanent architectural lighting, not a seasonal decoration.

What is PermTrack?

PermTrack is a rigid PVC mounting channel that your permanent lights sit inside of, rather than being attached directly to your fascia. We offer the PermTrack mounting system for both Govee Pro and Asahom Pro lights. The channel mounts flush along the roofline first, and the lights snap cleanly into it. The result: a seamless, professional finish that looks like a permanent architectural feature — not a lighting strip that was added on.

As an authorized PermTrack partner installer, Bright Homes LED sources the channel, fittings, and hardware directly — so every run is spec'd and installed the way it's meant to be.

The low-profile channel sits flush along your trim, soffit, or fascia — keeping the system discreet by day and letting it come alive at night. That's the difference between looking professional and looking temporary.

How Asahom permanent lighting works

Asahom Pro uses RGBCW LEDs — each point can produce full color plus true warm white and cool white, with an adjustable color temperature from a cozy 2700K to a crisp 6500K. Every LED is individually addressable, so you can run multiple colors, zones, and flowing effects across a single roofline at once.

The lights are permanently mounted along your fascia and eaves and stay up year-round. Change the whole look in a tap — warm white for everyday elegance, then bold color for the holidays. This is permanent architectural lighting, not a seasonal decoration.

Prefer your phone? The Asahom app is your full command center on iOS and Android — colors, zones, 100+ scenes, timers, custom palettes, and 23 music modes, plus hands-free control with Alexa or Google Assistant.

Don't want another app on your phone? Asahom Pro also ships with its own remote and control box, so anyone in the house can change colors and scenes without linking a phone at all. It's the most flexible way to run permanent lighting.
